This is a exclusive program offered by APF for students who are interested in learning the basics of Spanish for traveling purposes.

When they finish this course they will be able to communicate orally with Spanish speakers and will have learned basic listening and conversational skills.

This course is designed for travelers and for people who want to begin studying the language. It is ideal for those who are beginning their travels here and would like to continue to travel throughout Latin America with a better grasp of the language.

The Spanish & Adventure Program is a perfect way to discover this highly diverse South American country while experiencing the hospitality of the nation's people. Our country has many opportunities to practice extreme sports and to learn Spanish. By blending these two goals, this program provides you with the unique experience of enjoying nature, from our wild rivers, to the biologically diverse rainforest, to the majestic sea, all while learning about a different culture and learning a new language.

This course is designed for those who have an adventurous spirit and who are interested in getting to know another culture and language while travelling to different places and participating in a wide range of sports and activities .

The program consists of taking one-on-one Spanish classes from Tuesday to Friday, 4 hours per day, and going on excursions every weekend. Monday is free.

It is designed or people who want to know more about our fantastic country without having to worry about safety as they participate in a variety of excursions and trips to some of Ecuador's most interesting locations.

You will be able to travel along the Avenue of the Volcanoes, taking in the beautiful scenery of the Andean Mountains, or you can visit beautiful beaches and taste typical food from every region. All that in a well organized trip that guaranties safety. At the end of this quest, you will have experienced a "taste of Ecuador", its people, its cuisine, and its beautiful scenery. All this while gaining a strong command of the Spanish language, will give you an unforgettable experience to begin your travels through South America.

In order to take full advantage of your time in Ecuador, we offer you the option of studying Spanish while volunteering in one of our programs APF Team's main goal is to help the needy.

The work with our volunteers has proved to be an enriching experience for both the people who are being helped and for the volunteers who have the opportunity to help the less fortunate while learning and practicing a new language. To help to the less fortunate concerns to everybody. Therefore, we offer the opportunity to volunteer in two programs:

1 - Humanitarian
2 - Ecological

Because the latter is being developed outside of Quito, your accommodations will be in the nature reserves or stations in which you are volunteering. In the Humanitarian programs, however, you can stay with a host family in Quito.
